USFA Tournament Host Agreement:
In consideration for USFA granting the Host the right to sponsor and conduct an officially sanctioned USFA Qualifying Tournament, and all other rights and benefits associated therewith, the Host hereby agrees to the following:
1. Host will allow only USFA registered teams to enter the event
2. Host agrees to pay all general expenses incurred while conducting tournament games, including but not limited to, the following.
A. Field and/or Park Rental, maintenance, security (as applicable)
B. Umpire fees; minimum (2) umpires per game for all games. (Note: All umpires must be USFA Sanctioned)
C. Awards: Team Trophies - 1st & 2nd at a minimum, 3rd is recommended Individual Trophies - lst Place (15 minimum) Recommended - 8 & under - Every child should receive a participation trophy.
D. Liability and Accident Insurance
3. Tournament Data Base and Advertisement:
A. Host agrees to post the tournament on the USFA National Database
B. Host agrees in good faith to sufficiently promote this event.
C. Host agrees to require all teams to enter the event using the USFA National Database or input them team(s) personally
D. Host agrees to completely closeout the event within 5 days

**Complete the Tournament Worksheet an mail it and any fees owed to State Director (must be received within 5 days of conclusion)
4. Tournament Brackets:
A. Tournament should be a minimum 4 game format for a 2 day event
B. 2 Pool Play with Double elimination or 3 Pool Play games with Single Elimination is recommended. Third place play-off is optional.
5. USFA Official Balls (providing balls is optional):
A. If provided all balls must be Official USFA, Perfect Game optic yellow ball with the USFA Logo and C.O.R. of 47 stamped on the ball.
B. Note: USFA Tournaments hosts receive special discounts rates for USFA balls -- $40 per dozen - minimum 6 dozen
6. USFA Tournament Fees and Administration Fee
A. Entry fees for tournaments should reflect the number of games
B. Recommend a 4 game format with a maximum charge of $300.00
C. Host agrees to pay the USFA administration fee of $10.00 per team for each team participating in the tournament.
7. Tournament Check-in
A. Host agrees to verify that each youth team participating in this tournament meets the USFA insurance requirements prior to participation
B. Host agrees to be responsible for assigning all USFA sanctioned umpires with the umpire-in-chief, or his designee. (Umpire-in-Chief may also be the tournament director)
8. Rights that remain with the tournament host:
A. Tournament souvenir rights.
B. Program rights.
C. The commission rate from Hotel / Motels.
D. All the concession and gate fees.
9. At the completion of the event, Host will provide to following to the State Director within 5 days:
A. All listing of all teams entered (Completed via Tournament Database)
B. Order of Finish in each bracket (USFA Tournament Database)
C. All umpires used (Names and Sanction numbers)
D. Administration fee (Number of teams entered X $10 per team = Total
