GENERAL INFORMATION:
Welcome to 2012 United States Fastpitch Association's Tennessee girls state tournament. This years state tournament will be played at McKnight Park, StarPlex & Barfield Park in Murfreesboro, TN. Murfreesboro is a great place to host an event of this caliber with plenty of places to eat and stay that are close by as well as plenty of things for the girls to do like the movies and of course shopping. Also, if the players, coaches or fans need to cool off there is a huge outdoor pool within McKnight park. We invite you all to take part in what should be a great state tournament event.
WHEN: June 29 - July 1
WHERE: McKnight Park, StarPlex and Barfield Park In Murfreesboro, TN
AGES: 8U, 10A, 10B, 12A, 12B, 14A, 14B, 16A, 16B, 18U
FORMAT: One Pool / Double Elimination
(Your USFA points will seed you for this tournament.)
AWARDS: 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Team & Individual Awards plus All tournament & MVP's. Also, the winning team from each age division will receive a brand new Mizuno bat.
ENTRY FEE: $250.00
All pool games will be played on Friday beginning at 5:00PM and tournament play will begin Saturday morning. You are not obligated to play your pool game if you so choose as they do not count, you are seeded in elimination play by your USFA points.
No special requests for pool game times will be accepted!!
**Registering for this tournament DOES NOT guarantee you a spot, once your entry fee has been received you will officially be accepted into the tournament. We will only take a limited amount of teams whose entry fees we receive. If you wish to send your entry fee in early to reserve your spot, we encourage you to do so as checks are not deposited until 2 weeks prior to the event.***
