*This is a USFA sanctioned World Series qualifying tournament with a format of 1 pool game followed by double elimination.
*Pool games will be 1 hour and 10 minutes drop dead finishing the batter.
*Elimination game times are 1 hour and 10 minutes.
*NOTE: A. Pitchers are allowed 5 warm up pitches to start the game, after that they will only receive 3.
B. Batters must receive coaching signs with one foot in the box.
C. There will only be allowed one offensive timeout per inning.
*There will be a mercy rule in effect: (12 runs after 3 & 8 runs after 5).
*For elimination games that end in a tie, the international tie breaker will
be played until a winner is declared.
*Seeding of the bracket is determined by: USFA POINT TOTALS.
*Highest seeded team is the home team.
*The home team is responsible for keeping the official scorebook.
*TN USFA Staff members will keep the scoreboards
*All game balls will be furnished by TN USFA
**The tournament director reserves the right to delay or reschedule games as needed. In case of rain delays, a restricted schedule may be implemented. The head coach is responsible for finding out changed game times in the event of inclement weather.
Protest fee is $100.00 cash. The fee will be returned if the protest is allowed. Any dispute on a rule interpretation will be settled immediately by the UIC before the game continues.
